“The Golden Desert” is a masterfully crafted abstract rendition of an aerial view of a desert shrouded in gold. It is said that every sand particle is a spec of 18k gold. Inhabitants of this so called desert roam these ever glistening dunes for a treasure. Yet the treasure ones seek is not of gold although the land is engulfed in it. Rather, travelers seek the treasure of water, thus depicting the irony of a golden desert representing a treasure that is non existent yet presents itself as so.
